I think this was an early Joan Evans painting of the road to the Chimanimani Mountains on the road from Melsetter or it could be from the road from Cashel. The angle is not right for this.

would say these are the Chimanimani mountains near Melsetter where I grew up. The beautifully coloured Msasa trees are also a feature of the area and I have several photos of these trees. Ben van der Linde.
